Cabinet Painting
Kitchen Cabinets
Every painter says they paint cabinets and that is true! But are they using the highest quality KCMA (Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturer's Association) rated primers and paint? Are they doing a spray application? Are they taking the doors and drawers off site to a spray booth?
Cabinet painting is an art and should be treated with the most attention to detail. We do extensive prep work both on site to the cabinet boxes and off site at our shop that is fully equiped with a spray booth to spray cabinet doors and drawers.
We clean and degrease all surfaces so there is no contamination. We fill any imperfections and multiple rounds of sanding follow suit both before and inbetween all coats of primers and top coats.
What do we use for products? We use an Italian brand called Milesi. Its a 2K poly product that is KCMA rated, which means it has been put through multiple tests to determine the elasticity and hardness to give you a lasting, beautiful finish for years to come. Compared to high end trim paint that some painters use, it is a night and day difference when it comes to durability.
Cabinet repaints usually take 5 - 6 days depending on how many colors your choose. You won't have access to the kitchen for 2 - 3 days of that as we prep and paint the boxes.
